Turning waste into energy

Veolia has installed a comprehensive landfill gas management system consisting of extraction system, gas delivery system, engine, thermal catalytic unit and enclosed flares at SENTX, WENT and NENT landfills.

Subsequently, the energy is used as electricity for on-site usage, leachate treatment, on-site synthetic natural gas production, off-site town-gas production and connecting to the grid.
