Transforming Sludge into Clean Energy in Hong Kong

T·PARK is a self-sufficient sludge treatment facility in Hong Kong, utilizing advanced waste-to-energy technology to tackle the city's unique waste challenges.
tpark

A unique sludge treatment facility combining state-of-the-art technologies of sludge incineration, power generation, seawater desalination and wastewater treatment into one single complex.

Veolia designs, builds, and operates T·PARK, one of the largest and most advanced sludge treatment facilities globally, significantly reducing sludge volume while generating its own electricity through thermal energy from incineration and producing drinking water daily via an on-site desalination plant. It also features a wastewater recycling circuit to prevent sea discharge and can generate excess electricity for the public grid.

Designed by the renowned Claude Vasconi with innovative architecture and public amenities, T·PARK blends with the landscape and offers educational and recreational facilities, including a visitor gallery, lecture theatre, spa pools, and observation platforms with views of Deep Bay and Shenzhen.
